Hands on Hounds
Based in Holmer Green, the Aquatic Treadmill allows dogs to begin the rehabilitation process earlier than normal. Using the natural properties of water (buoyancy, resistance and heat) the treadmill creates a low- impact workout that helps the dog to increase muscle strength and endurance, and allows for a quicker transition to landbased exercise. The water depth is adjusted for controlled weight bearing exercise improving the dog‘s sensory awareness and stability.
Melian Aqua Dogs
Based in Loudwater, High Wycombe. Our 4 metre by 2.5 metre pool is suitable for all breeds, shape and sizes of dog. It has the facility to apply water jets so your dog can swim against a gentle current. The pool is attended by a hydrotherapist at all times, mostly in the pool along with the dog, so that the dog too gets the full benefit from treatment.
