Peter Thomas graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2000. After working in Manchester and Portsmouth he joined the practice in 2004, going on to become a partner in 2012. He has a particular interest in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery but enjoys all aspects of veterinary work. He lives in Marlow with his wife, Nicky, his sons, Owen and Ethan, daughter, Erin and his cat, Hector. Outside of work Peter enjoys running and, in the summer, plays tennis.
Tim Ferens graduated from the Royal Dick Veterinary College, Edinburgh in 1999. He has worked in the Bucks/Berks area since then with a brief stint working in Rotorua, New Zealand. He came to Temple End in 2006 and became a Partner in the practice in 2012. Tim, his wife Dee, daughter Mia and son Finlay, cat Eddie and tortoise Hermione live in High Wycombe. He enjoys mountain biking, road cycling and whenever possible, skiing.
Jacqui Chesham was pleased to accept the position of Practice Manager in January 2004 having working there a few years earlier on reception before leaving to run a branch practice elsewhere. She has lived in Marlow for most of her life with husband Neil, they have two daughters, three grandchildren and two spoilt dogs. She enjoys driving her 1955 VW Beetle, dog walking, gardening and spending time with family.
Emily Willdig graduated from Cambridge University in 2014 and joined the practice soon after. She enjoys both medicine and surgery but likes cuddling puppies the most. Originally from Cheshire, she has grown up surrounded by cows in the fields and various dogs in the home and now has a cat called Lily that she adopted from the practice. In her spare time she loves going out and socialising with friends but also more civilised activities such as country walks and going round National Trust properties!
Kezia Eves graduated from St George’s University, Grenada in 2008. From graduating she has worked in the Bucks area, joining Temple End this year, May 2014. She enjoys all aspects of medicine and surgery, with a particular interest in dentistry and exotics. Kezia lives in High Wycombe with her husband, her son, cat Charles and English Bull Terrier Gari; a household of boys! Kezia enjoys dog walking and spending time with friends and family.
Nicky Thomas graduated from the Royal Veterinary College, London in 2003. After working in Reading and Maidenhead for many years she joined the practice in October 2017. Her main interests are in internal medicine, cardiology and diagnostic imaging, especially ultrasound, though she also enjoys soft tissue surgery. She lives in Marlow with her husband Pete, 2 sons Owen and Ethan and daughter Erin along with Hector the cat. In her spare time she enjoys baking, dancing and theatre going.
Katherine Buick graduated from the University of Bristol in 2013. After working at a neutering clinic in Fiji, and then as a mixed animal vet in North Wales, Katherine joined Temple End in May 2016. She enjoys surgery and ophthalmology, and relishes the challenge of working in a busy practice. In her spare time Katherine likes to run, horse ride and generally be outdoors.
Esme Reynolds graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2014 and has been working at a small animal hospital in Lincolnshire since then. She moved to Temple End in September 2017. She enjoys all aspects of her job but particularly likes feline medicine. In her spare time she enjoys walking her dog Elwood and spending time with her family and other pets, Queenie the cat and Darnell the corn snake.
James Copland graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2017 and joined Temple End soon after. He enjoys surgery but has a particular interest in internal medicine and oncology. James has recently moved to Marlow with his girlfriend, who is also a vet, and is looking forward to getting a Siamese cat. In his spare time, James regularly plays tennis, and also enjoys reading, travelling, cricket and football.
Dana graduated from Romania in 2013 and after two years in a small animal practice she moved to the UK. Following one year in a busy charity in London, she undertook a rotating internship at a small animal referral centre in Cambridgeshire. She has a keen interest in internal medicine, particularly haematology and endocrinology, with a strong emphasis on feline medicine. When she is not a medicine nerd, she enjoys playing chess (if she is lucky enough to find a chess partner!) and discovering new places and people.
Georgie Marote graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in July 2018. She started working at Temple End shortly after, having done several placements with us as a vet student! She has keen interests in medicine, imaging and endocrinology but also enjoys soft tissue surgery. In her spare time Georgie loves to stay active and enjoys running, yoga and mountain climbing.
Shelley Kirby started work at Temple End straight after leaving school in June 1997. She quickly gained her VN qualification and is now Head Nurse of a team of nine. Shelley grew up and lives in Marlow with a small collection of pets and her husband and two children Lewis and Beatrix. In her spare time she enjoys her pets, films, shopping and DIY!
Lucy Spackman joined Temple End in 1989 after qualifying as a VN in 1988. She married Philip in March 2004 and they live in Booker with a gang of lurchers, terriers and ferrets! Out of working hours Lucy enjoys anything to do with the outdoors especially fishing and walking and she plays badminton with a colleague.
Roseanna Gomme joined Temple End in December 2014 as a trainee nurse after previously working in practice for 18 months and completing a Veterinary Support Assistant course. She gained her nursing qualification in July 2017 to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse.She lives in High Wycombe with her family and her dog. She enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Jess Hanson joined Temple End in January 2016 as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse after completing her Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management. She now attends The College of Animal Welfare studying Veterinary Nursing. She has a 20 year old tabby cat at home called Shadey. In her spare time her hobby is dancing and she is part of a dance troop that competes all year round.
Katie Bromley began working as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse in May 2016. From a young age she dreamed of being a Veterinary Surgeon, but following a week’s Work Experience in the Practice at the age of 15, she realised that she’d much prefer to be working with animals “hands on” instead of hands in! Katie adopted a small black cat from the Practice after it came in as a very timid stray, who now loves nothing more than curling up on Katie’s chest when she needs to get up for work in the mornings.
Lois Timms joined Temple End in August 2016 as a Trainee Veterinary Nurse after she completed her Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management at Berkshire College of Agriculture. She lives in Maidenhead. Before joining our team Lois had experience working in a local pharmacy and as a Veterinary Care Assistant in a small animal practice in Holyport. She has a nine year old Springer Spaniel X Border Collie who she loves taking out on long walks in the countryside. In her spare time she enjoys going to the gym, shopping and socialising with friends and family. She is also a massive film fanatic.
Emily Fuller began working as a trainee veterinary nurse at Temple End in March 2018 after completing an extended diploma in Level 3 Animal Management at the Berkshire College of Agriculture. She has previously worked as a veterinary care assistant at a small practice in Bracknell. Emily lives in Burnham with her cat Charlie, rabbit Smudge and has recently rescued a hamster named Delilah! She enjoys horse riding and going to the cinema in her spare time.
Rebecca Banning joined the practice in January 2018 as a Trainee Nurse, after completing a BA Hons degree in Musical Theatre, and deciding that it was time for a career change! Rebecca has always dreamt of working with animals and especially loves dogs. She lives in High Wycombe with her fiancée Gareth, Alfie the Sprocker Spaniel, Farah the rescue cat and loves spending time with her horse Lacey.
Emma Nichol joined Temple End in June 2018 as a work placement student for her second year at Hartpury University studying Veterinary Nursing FdSc. She is thoroughly enjoying her course and is keen to gain a more hands on experience in the practice. Emma has a two year old Cavapoo who she enjoys taking out in the countryside surrounding her home in the Cotswolds. She also has four guinea pigs, a 16 year old cat and has recently adopted a stray kitten. She enjoys reading, writing music and spoiling her animals rotten in her spare time!
Emily Pearce joined Temple End in June 2018 after being a veterinary care assistant in another practice in Hillingdon. Since a young age Emily has always wanted to work with animals and decided after finishing school that Berkshire College of Agriculture was the best place to start working within the animal industry where she graduated in 2017. Emily has always grown up with cocker spaniels and loves nothing more then dog walking in the countryside, to get away from the busy streets of Slough where she lives.

Jeanette Liley returned to Veterinary work in June 2016 as Reception Supervisor. She’s married with 2 grown children John and Rachel. Lives in High Wycombe and enjoys travel and spending time with extended family! Loves animals of all shapes and sizes.
Karen Harrison joined the Temple End reception team in 1993 and then transferred to the Marlow Bottom Branch in 2009. Karen has lived in High Wycombe for most of her life, she married Geoff in 1983 and has three adult children. Every spare moment is spent walking her Border Collies which she trains and competes at the highest level in Competitive Obedience competition.
Wendy Cockburn has lived with her husband Neil in Marlow Bottom for thirty years. They have three children, a dog called Lottie and a rather large cat called Jasper. In the past their other pets have included chickens, ducks, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits and green fire bellied toads!
Cindy Thomas joined the practice in 1985 when the Flackwell Heath branch moved to its present position. She works solely in Flackwell Heath as Branch Manager. Cindy lives in the village with her husband Haydn, she has three married children and eight grandchildren. She enjoys foreign travel, gardening and keeps fit by walking to and from work.
Sue Mothersdale RVN DipAVN (Surgical) Cert SAN MBVNA qualified in 1987 then went on to gain her Diploma in Advance Veterinary Nursing (Surgical) in 1997 and City and Guilds in Small Animal and Exotic Nutrition in 1998. She has worked in small animal and mixed first opinion practice followed by 10 years in referral small animal and equine practice in Newmarket and London. Throughout this time she has been involved with education, lecturing and writing articles for the veterinary nursing profession and preparing student nurses for their RCVS nursing exams. Sue took a short break from practice to raise her family before joining Temple End in 2009.
Mary Woodcock joined Temple End in 2007, previously working as a freelance Qualified Dental Nurse. She moved to our new Holmer Green branch when it opened in 2015. She is a keen walker along with her Hungarian Wire Haired Vizsla, “Travis”. She enjoys foreign travel and socialising with friends.
Karen McNab joined the Temple End reception team in 2001, after 14 years on reception she is now working in the office assisting Jacqui the Practice Manager. She lives in Lane End and is married to Andy with four children, three grandchildren and a menagerie of pets, Siamese being her passion, but also including exotics.
